  I've tagged along on four field trips with my nephew's class at Young Scholars this summer, at parks and splash pads around the area, and I've come away with a newfound respect for daycare teachers as a profession. My nephew is 2 and a half, which means he moves at full speed in six directions at once with zero sense of danger and a magnetic attraction to the nearest body of water. Multiply that by a whole classroom and you'd think it'd be chaos. It never was. Jeannine in particular is a wizard. She somehow has eyes on every kid at once, defuses meltdowns before they start, and still makes the whole day feel fun instead of like crowd control. The kids are obsessed with her, and I can see why. As a family member just along for the ride, it was clear these weren't just supervised outings, they were genuinely fun, thoughtful experiences the staff put real effort into. If you want a place that treats your kid like a person and not a liability, Young Scholars is it.

  We feel so happy that our children get to attend the Young Scholars. We know that as we work to provide for our family, our kids are safe, respected, and loved by their teachers. Both our kids love going to school and look forward to enjoying their days. Their attitude towards going in every day says it all. They have a phenomenal program and the way they encourage the students’ emotional and academic growth is outstanding. We are forever thankful to all of the supportive staff at Young Scholars for their hard work and dedication. You make an amazing impact in our children’s lives every day!

  We’ve been with Young Scholars for almost a year now, and it has been nothing but a wonderful experience. We truly love their creative curriculum that keeps our children engaged every day. The summer program was especially amazing — full of fun field trips, special visitors, and science experiments. What we appreciate most is their open communication. They don’t just share the good moments but also keep us informed about the challenges, and that means a lot to us as parents. As a multilingual family, we were deeply touched when our daughter’s teacher, Ms. Caitlin, learned a few words in our child’s native language. That small gesture made our little one feel seen and understood — and it showed us how inclusive and caring this community truly is. We’re so grateful for the warmth, patience, and kindness of everyone at Young Scholars. It’s more than just a daycare — it’s a place where our children are loved, supported, and celebrated for who they are.

  We have been with young scholars for almost 4 years now and we are in love. The staff is attentive and team closely with families to support the growth for all children. Young scholars did such a great job preparing and setting my child up for success as she transitioned to preschool. It is already difficult to leave your child in the hands of others, but the Young Scholars staff have gone above and beyond earning my trust in taking care of my children. If you are looking for childcare I highly recommend Young Scholars.
